Disclosure: I received a Black+Decker Auto Vac for the purpose of this post. All opinions are my own.
We love to travel, and because my son has a severe nut allergy, I usually prep their meals to go. Like all kids, they tend to make a mess, and vacuuming the car out in the middle of winter can be quite a chore.
I usually use a upright vacuum to clean my car. But that means that, in the middle of winter, I have to have the car doors open to accomplish the job. Because of this, sometimes in the winter, the car goes longer then it should in between cleanings. The job is also done quicker (and less thoroughly) then it is during the summer. Thanks to the Black +Decker 12-volt Flex Auto Vac, cleaning the car just got easier.
This Vac has dual functionality. It can be used as a standard hand Vac or the handle can be removed for hard to reach areas. The Cyclonic action spins the dirt away from the filter, while still maintaining suction power.
It also features a transparent dust bowl that allows you to know when to empty the hand Vac. The side empty door is an easy to clean system. Which means all the dirt goes straight in the bin and your hands stay clean. A filter cleaning wheel is also included for easy and hands free cleaning of the filter.
I love that it has a 12V adapter that plugs directly into a cigarette lighter socket. This way, I can close the car doors and stay nice and toasty warm, while cleaning my car out in the winter.
The integrated hose allows you to clean all areas of your car, where other hand vacs fail to reach. A 16 feet cable allows you to reach all areas of your car including the boot, and can be easily wrapped around the car vac before storing it away in the drawstring bag.
The accessories include a long crevice tool, that is great for cleaning tight areas such as underneath and in between the seats. The combined crevice and soft brush is an all in one tool for ease of use.
