In just two short weeks Aviva will be bringing back their community fund program.
This program allows you to vote for ideas of projects for Aviva to support. The winners get to share $1,000,000 towards the funding of their project.
Starting in just two weeks you will be able to recommend these projects through the Aviva Community Fund website.
What sort of project would you recommend?
Personally here in our neighborhood we need a new community center because the growth in our area has been so fast that the neighborhood is one of the largest in the city, one of the newest and yet it has no actual local community center. In fact I believe it may be one of the only neighborhoods in the city without any form of community recreation at all.
What we really need in our neighborhood is a community center, one that has the basketball courts, the gymnasium, the splash park, the ball diamond and even a library, perhaps even a skate park. Something that could be a center for the whole neighborhood.
But most importantly of all, we need a local center where everyone can feel welcome.
Aviva has over the years partially funded many great and ambitious projects, some of them are seen above, and again this year they are offering a share of A Million Dollars to help fund community programming.
Do your part and submit your idea. It even helps more if you can get an insurance agent on board with your plan.

But remember the votes are what helps Aviva decide, so submit your idea and promote it, and if you see an idea you support put your vote in.
Take part in the Challenge and remember you have up until November 25th to submit your idea.
