Funky Yellow Bus
Robin Rosenberg is a stay-at-home-mom-turned-author, takes her role as mom very seriously.“As parents, we strive to successfully teach our children all of life’s important lessons,” Rosenberg says. She transforms that common childhood fear of the school bus into an exciting musical journey. In her latest children’s book, Funky Yellow Bus. Rosenberg, who previously authored Brookie Cookie Bookie. A children’s book about accepting differences, teamed up with talented artist and illustrator, Bernie Freytag, who brilliantly brings the book to life.
The Funky Yellow School Bus is appropriate for children fearful of all new situations, not just the school bus. The book is valuable in teaching children that new situations are not always bad. It also helps teach children that new situations that are extremely scary, can also be very fun once the initial fear is gone. Which helps to teach them, that not everybody who they think is scary is a bad person. Allowing themselves to be themselves can often make a scary situation fun.
My daughter loved the bright colors and the well illustrated pictures and the rhyming pattern. That helped keep her attention through out the story. This is one of the best children’s stories we have read in along time and we highly recommend this book.
