My youngest daughter was born the day after Mother’s Day. It was not an easy birth. There were complications during the delivery, and I almost didn’t make it. But I am thankful for a quick-thinking doctor, whose skills gave me the opportunity to meet my daughter. Not a day goes by, without my daughter hugging me and telling me “I Love You Mom”
She has never failed to remember how much work I put into helping her learn to self-moderate her O.D.D. The countless hours spent over weeks and months, teaching her the coping methods have made her defiant episodes a distant memory and have given her the tools to be able to attend school as a productive and happy student.
Every mother loves getting gifts, however, one of the most valuable gifts any mother can ask for, is that her children realize and appreciate the sacrifices she has made. It can be very difficult to find gifts to show your mother just how much she has done for you, but Hallmark has a wonderful selection of gifts that makes it easy to find the perfect gift to express your gratitude.
Here are a few of my favorite gifts from Hallmark’s Mother’s Day collection.
