Disclosure: I was provided with a Brio World Family House to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.
My kids have always liked playing with sets that you can design to suit yourself. From dolls houses to train tracks, they always showed a preference for being able to use their imaginations to create something that suited them. My kids do love to play and toys gets worn through constant use so durable wooden sets also have a bit of a preference . Brio World has been enjoyed in our home before and it is something that my kids thoroughly loved and used to play for hours with.
You can build the Brio Family House according to suggestions in the leaflet. In addition you also can customize the plastic and wood modular pieces to offer yourself lots of options. It comes with interior details and characters, creating a unique social play focus around real life situations for your child to engage in.
The Village is a new theme within the Brio World concept, filled with play values and experience. It encourages social role play and invites children to play together by telling stories from their everyday life.
The Village theme consists of several modular toys like a house, school, singing stage and ice cream stand. This theme offers suggestions but encourages children to create their own settings. A variety of different characters help to get the role playing started.
All pieces of the Village theme are modular-scaled to fit the rest of the BRIO World. You can easily be connect as well as expand by using the other themes in the BRIO World. BRIO creates innovative, high-quality as well as well-designed toys with clean, simple designs. They spark children’s creativity and imagination while encouraging and supporting each stage of their development. For over a century, our mission has been to create happy childhood memories.
All wooden parts are made from 100% FSC certified beech wood from sustainably managed forests and are built to last for generations. You can keep up with BRIO on Facebook as well as YouTube. The sets can be purchased at various specialty toy shops as well as on Amazon.

My son is going through a fireman/fire truck phase so the fire station would probably make him freak of happiness. Any of the fire stuff would work but that looks like something he’d really enjoy.
