Disclosure: I received a Simon Air Sample for the purpose of this post. All opinions are my own
Hasbro has very successfully over recent years made a practice of bringing back some of the older toys that today’s parents regularly played with. One of these games is the original Simon game. I remember as a small child receiving a classic Simon game from Santa. I was thrilled as well as had a lot of fun playing the game with my family.
What is also extremely interesting is that while they have been bringing back some of the older games that parents remember, they have also been developing some up to date and new designs based on the old games. They have taken Simon and introduced touch free technology to create a new game called Simon Air.
My autistic son has always loved the old Simon game and he is sure to love the Simon Air, as he loves to watch the lights go around and he really is quite capable of running long strings as his memory for this type of game is quite impressive.
In the new Simon Air game, the classic Simon game gets a modern twist with touch-free technology! Play solo against the new Simon Air game as well as team up with a friend and work together to remember the sequence. Repeat the pattern to conquer the game. The Simon game senses every hand motion and registers correct sequences. Stay on top of the game and conquer the speed-increasing levels with double moves, swoop moves, as well as moves that light up all four lights! Repeat the pattern incorrectly and a buzzer will sound to end the game.
The player with the highest score is declared the winner! The game includes the Simon Air game unit as well as instructions. Three “AA”batteries are required however demo batteries are included. Available at most major retailers nationwide as well as HasbroToyShop.com.
