Disclosure: I received nuNAAT samples to facilitate this post All opinions are my own.
P NAAT Brazilian Keratin collection restores and intensifies your hair’s nutritional balance, leaving it incredibly smooth, strong and flexible.
My hair is thick, prone to frizz and seems to have a mind of it’s own. I have a hard time finding products that will actually do the job and that leaves me satisfied. So I was happy for the opportunity to put nuNAAT products to the test.
I Used Only the Following Products for two Weeks!
- Daily Care Shampoo
- Daily Care Conditioner
- Intensive Hair Mask
- Liquid Keratin Leave-In Reconstructor
- Brazilian Keratin Serum Ultra Shine
All the products I tested have a pleasant scent. Not too overpowering and left my hair soft, shiny and easy to manage. They did not weigh my hair down. After using the products for two weeks, I did notice a reduction in frizz and volume and my hair appeared to not curl as much. If your hair is dry/damaged and prone to frizz I would recommend using NAAT Brazilian Keratin collection.
For general usage instructions, the NAAT Brazilian Keratin products are mainly great for people who choose to style their hair using heat (blow dry or flat iron) on a regular basis. The shampoo and conditioner can be used the same as you would any other shampoo and conditioner, as often as needed.
The hair mask can be used instead of the daily conditioner after shampooing anywhere from once a week to once a month, depending on how dry your hair is, for hair repair and added moisture – some people use the mask and then the conditioner afterwards because the mask is great for repairing and then the conditioner helps de-tangle hair that gets tangled easily.
- Works with all hair types
- Repairs cuticle damage
- Regenerates and strengthens hair fibers
- Restores natural shine and softness
- Seals hair cuticles
- Reduces volume and frizz
- Makes hair resilient and healthy
- Formaldehyde and sodium chloride free
The leave-in reconstructor is not so much a leave-in conditioner as it’s a heat protectant, so you won’t see any real benefit unless you style your hair with a blow dryer and/or flat iron. Just apply it to damp hair before applying heat (pour some into your hands, rub your hands together and then apply to hair from the ends up to the top of your heat, reapply as much as you think is needed, as with everything, different people use different amounts so you have to play with it to find out what is right for you). Wait a few minutes for it to penetrate your hair, then style it with the blow dryer or flat iron.
The product gets sealed in the cuticle of your hair for added moisture and shine. (it is super liquidy because it needs to be absorbed by the hair cuticle and the liquid form allows a better penetration.) With the shine serum, you can use it on damp hair before styling OR on dry hair for additional healthy shine (good for when heat styling or without heat styling) – use minimally or it will look greasy…like a pea size amount, by rubbing it onto your hands then applying it to your hair, concentrating on the ends and working your way up to the top of your head if needed (for flyaways).
