My youngest daughter is a huge animal lover and she could watch the monkeys and gibbons all day. She adores these amazing creatures and is fascinated by their antics and enjoyed watching them bouncing around their cage all the time.
Giraffe
The girls absolutely love the giraffes. While they were not out right away when we got there, after a few minutes they came out to see the visitors and one of them ate some food out of their hands, which really was one of the highlights of their entire vacation.
Greater Flamingos
As always the flamingos offer a very bright shot of colour to the park, and make for an excellent stop as visitors get to watch them strutting around in all their beauty.
White Tiger
The white tiger was a personal favorite attraction this year. The clear glass viewing area for the enclosure allows for great photos as well as the opportunity to get a unobstructed view of these beautiful cats.
While strolling through the park, we came across a mother and her ducklings cooling off in a muddy pool. Our daughter really loved watching the ducklings and it was cool to see how unafraid they were of us and all that was going on around them.
Food
There are a number of different food options to choose from at Safari Niagara. We decided to eat at the The Merembe House because it was right beside our next stop, the water park. It was a very hot day when we visited, and we really appreciated the sheltered picnic tables that were set up there. The food is not only delicious, but very affordable and a lot cheaper than other comparable attractions. The lineups were not long and everyone felt satisfied and full.
Cooling off at the Splash Pad
My kids enjoyed cooling off at the splash Pad, after strolling throughout the park. It’s a great way to cool off on a hot summer’s day. It features interactive misters, sprayers, squirting teeter-totters, motorcycles, dolphins as well as the tipping fish. In their opinion it’s the best splash pad that they’ve visited. It’s normally opens in mid June, weather permitting.
