Most weekends we usually order a family takeout, as we run a busy schedule during the week. It gives us the chance to unwind and spend some quality family time together. But during our spring break, Instead of ordering takeout, we stayed in and cooked a few of our favourites with the new Hamilton Beach Digital Air Fryer.

Have you ever cooked bacon in the Air Fryer? We tried bacon early on and it quickly became a family favourite for the air-fryer. It’s quick, less mess and no spills to clean up and comes out nice and crispy. For the best crispy Bacon, arrange 4-6 pieces of bacon in the basket and cook on 350 for 8 minutes.
We also have tried a variety of other foods in the air fryer. Fries come out nice and crispy, much better than oven baking, while fish is moist even while the breaded coating is crispy. We even made some donuts, which actually came out quite delicious and cooked in half the time. The donuts were better by the fact that we did not have to deep fry them. They were significantly healthier, than if we had made them the traditional way.
