Many times I have heard my daughters say “Please, can we have a pet?” Rather than avoid the question, we weighed the pros and cons of adding a pet to our household. A pet can teach children responsibility and become a wonderful addition to a family.
For my family, owning a pet is not an option, because my special needs son dislikes animals coming anywhere near him. He is fine with watching animals from a distance and that’s OK. We had originally intended on him getting a service dog, however since he has never wavered in being uncomfortable near animals it has become an impossibility.
Little Live Pets has an extensive range of pet toys, that help teach kids the responsibility of owning a pet without all the added mess, and remember to feed them. My daughter really loves her new Lil Ladybug Garden and thinks the elevator is a cool feature of this play set. She really enjoys every opportunity she has to add to her little live pet menagerie.
The Ladybug’s Garden is a wonderful miniature world for your Ladybugs to explore! Watch them scoot in and out and all about their little land! But watch if you let down the gate, because they love to escape and wander around the house.
