Disclosure: I received Moto Z Play samples to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.
June is a very busy and interesting month. Most schools are wrapping up for the year, graduations are happening as well as Father’s day. There are a lot of memories surrounding these events. But how do we perfectly capture those memories? What gifts do we buy for these dads and grads?
I recently had the opportunity to review a Moto Z play. This is a very cool 5.5″ phone from Motorola. It includes a 16 MP rear facing camera, that is on par with many of the standard cameras on the market today.
The phone has a slightly higher then normal memory. With 32GB of internal storage and the option to add up to a 2TB MicroSd card. This gives the phone a great memory capacity on top of a great camera feature. It almost makes you feel like it provides the entire package. However, it gets better because there are also optional attachments available to buy. Like a even better Camera, or an extended battery pack, a projector or even a speaker that all magnetically clip onto the back of the phone.
Overall I would consider the Moto Z play to be one of the all round most versatile phones on the market.
The phone also has the added bonus of being one of the early adopters of the USB-C charge/sync protocols. The great thing with USB-C is that it always fits. Unlike the previous USB connectors which always had a “correct” way to plug it in, the USB-C connects both ways with both the top and bottom of the connector being identical. This reduces the possibility of damaged plugs and reduces the frustration of always making sure the right side of the plug is pointing up when you charge your phone.
The phone takes beautiful high quality pictures and is sure to collect memories that will last a lifetime. The ample memory will provide great storage and the ability to take even more pictures to remember the day.
Overall this phone is great for capturing memories. It’s also a great gift to give to your grad or dad, and give them the opportunity to capture some great memories of their own.
