I received product from Wholesale Halloween Costumes in exchange for this post. All opinions are my own.
We all do it. We think about the expense of buying a Halloween costume and think “this year I am going to make one myself”. Often we will turn around and buy one, because with either time or lack of inspiration, we find we can not get it done.
I have often watched parent’s who take their kids out for Halloween with these great costumes and accessories and wished I had the imagination to pull it off. What most of us never really realize is, these parents have a little inspirational help. They have used hints from various creative websites, Pinterest etc to give them the ideas they put into practice.
Wholesale Halloween Costumes Provides Solutions for Everyone.
One great website for creative costume ideas is Wholesale Halloween Costumes. The main website is dedicated to selling Halloween costumes, however the blog which is directly connected to the home page is specifically dedicated to showing people how to create some incredible costumes and accessories yourself at home.
There are great designs for changing your kids wagon into different items. Things like a pirate ship, a princess carriage and even a spaceship. It also showcases some incredible makeup techniques to create some very cool but otherwise gruesome designs. I even noticed some great full costume ideas such as Dory and Nemo. They even have produced some great adult costume ideas like Powerpuff Girls or Mr and Mrs Smith.
I think anyone who is considering making their own costume this year, or wants to have some neat ideas for creating a costume, should check out the Wholesale Halloween Costumes blog. There you can see what ideas they can help bring to life for you. It isn’t often that a company will show you how to get around paying for their products. When they do, and do it well, it makes sense to listen to what they have to say.

Some people go all the way, it’s cute seeing the kids all decked up, myself I have no patience for anything so elaborate!!

The princess carriage is adorable. I’m not very good at DIY so it’s helpful for me when other people have ideas.
This year my husband made our 3 year old a car out of a box. It turned out so well and he got so many compliments. I think I am going to start doing homemade costumes every year. Cheaper and so many great ideas out there. Thanks for sharing
