Here are a few ways I practice self-care:
- Taking a hot relaxing bath to De-stress.
- Spending lots of time outside with my children during the summer, and Coppertone is one of my favorite go to products that helps prevent painful sunburns.
Because I love spending so much time outdoors. I always make sure that I have plenty of Claritin on hand to help manage my hay-fever allergies, that have been recurring since I was a child.
Hiking the trails at The Fundy National Park and I use Dr. Scholl’s in my shoes for the added cushion and comfort.

Having a hot shower in peace or having a bit quiet time after my son has fallen asleep.
I eat healthy and drink lots of water. I take a daily walk.
I practice self care by going for regular massages! So glad my benefits include them 💆
I practice self care by getting enough sleep each night and by making sure to listen to my body and needs.
Getting out in the fresh air clears my mind!
I practise self care by trying to avoid sugars, pasta and bread. I also juice friuits and veggies almost daily.
Long walks help me recenter!
I love to take a bubble bath and make sure to drink tons of water! I also try to move everyday.
I drink lots of water take a daily vitamin, and always have me times!!
I Try get outside for a walk once a day, and leave my phone at home! Long walks help me!!!
I practice self care by making sure I have even a moment a day breathing, just sitting for even a minute breathing in and out and being with my self. I go to the float house and attend floats and I do yoga every Tuesday with my youngest son for self care but also it includes my son which is important. I relax in a bath with my home made natural products I make by hand and just relax and stay calm and breathe. I try to watch a show I record at night when the kids are asleep and just have that self care time for myself. Sometimes just being alone for a minute and being quiet, listening to the air and breathing can be self care time. Those are some of the ways I practice self care.

I like to get a pedicure. The massage chairs there are quite relaxing.
I look after myself first as I need to be refreshed in order to help others. I also soak my feet in Epsom salts weekly to remove toxins
I like to take time daily to read or play a game – something simple for a short time to unwind and have some ME time!
I eat healthy, walk my dogs a few times a day, exercise regularly, book vacations & staycations a few times a year.
I love to walk. This is a great form of exercise. I try to do this either on a treadmill, at the gym or outside when the weather is good whenever I can. Riding my bike is good as well. I make a schedule every week and plan it around my work schedule. It’s very important to stay active and healthy.
Everyday I have a nice hot bath to relax and reflect on the day. It is nice to unwind before bed.
I practice self care by making sure I take an hour a day to just relax and read a good book or magazine.
I make sure to sit outside with a cup of tea every morning and watch the sun come up over the treetops.
I love to read, so I ensure that I have a portion of each day to sit with my current book.

I already do most of this stuff on a regular basis. I’m now in my 70’s and healthy enough not to have ever been put on any kind of ongoing medical prescription. Take care of you first or you won’t be able to take care of anyone else.
I try to make time to have a bath, while reading a book. It relaxes me before bed. It’s important to practice self care, for a balanced lifestyle
for the mind I meditate, do yoga, and go to therapy. for the body I eat healthy and do face/hair masks. For the soul I drink tea and read books 🙂
I try to go to the gym and exercise after work while also giving myself some “me time” as self care. It works wonders for stress.

I practise self care with a 12 minute daily meditation before bed. No matter how hectic the day has been, meditating before my head hits the pillow allows me to unwind and have a peaceful and deep sleep each night.

I practice self care by swimming and biking nearly every day. I love to walk a lot too and take care of my skin with lots of sunscreen. I almost always drink water with lemon slices in it and try to eat healthy .I think it’s important to rest too when my body tells me it’s tired and I try to listen. Another thing that is important to me in my self care routine is music. I love it and find it relaxing and uplifting.
